About Laura

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#16475), and I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, and I specialize in supporting both teens and adults through life’s more complicated seasons. My background includes individual therapy, inpatient mental health, and nonprofit work. I work with a wide range of issues like anxiety, depression, self-worth, relationship and family struggles, career shifts, job stress, and life transitions. Whatever you’re walking through, I bring a trauma-informed and deeply human lens to our work.

My approach is centered on real healing, not just surface-level change. We’ll work from the inside out, getting curious about your thoughts, patterns, and past experiences to understand where you’ve been and where you want to go. Sometimes that means unpacking old wounds. Sometimes it means building new habits or seeing things from a different angle. Either way, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. I see therapy as a collaborative space where you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

In our sessions, you can expect to feel seen and supported without judgment. We’ll build tools that help you regulate your emotions, communicate more clearly, set boundaries, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you may have lost along the way. I’ll help you get clear on your goals, work through the beliefs that are holding you back, and create meaningful momentum toward the life you want. My hope is that you leave each session with something that feels both grounding and empowering, no matter what you’re facing.
