About Eric

Eric Harlow is an avid outdoorsman and surfer whose passion for nature and adventure is reflected in his dynamic approach to both life and therapy. Often accompanied by his loyal German Shepherd, he values the transformative power of connection and companionship as essential to personal growth and healing. This philosophy aligns seamlessly with his practice of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), where he supports individuals and couples in navigating complex emotional landscapes and building more authentic, fulfilling relationships.

With a background as a Special Operations medic, Eric brings a deep understanding of high-stress environments where emotional suppression is often viewed as strength. This perspective informs his work with clients, particularly men who may struggle with emotional connection. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), he works effectively with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and relational wounds. His trauma-informed approach provides a safe, supportive environment for clients to explore and express their emotions without judgment.

Eric empowers clients to strengthen their connections and achieve lasting, meaningful change. His dedication to their well-being, combined with his military experience and love of the outdoors, offers a unique and refreshing perspective within the therapeutic process.
